OMG Usher!

Usher OMG

It was a last minute decision to buy Usher tickets, and I’m sure glad we did. I don’t care what people say about Usher, I still love him! I’m usually a closet Usher-fan, partly because he’s responsible for the horror that is Justin Bieber, but after the concert I’m out! Especially after witnessing him rip off his shirt after singing “You make me wanna”. God, I got goosebumps when he started singing “you make me wanna”. I recorded a bit of it in my iphone (which is actually pretty good in terms of sound quality). Would have recorded more, but I opted to watch and enjoy, rather than record and remember.

Here’s a few photos from the night:

Usher OMG

The people in the front section were going mental! Completely mental. Someone even threw their bra at him.

Love the zoom on my camera!

Man the guy sweats a lot. He was dripping.

Confetti ending.

So happy I got to see Usher! That’s another one I can cross off my list. Yay!

Listening to his music again brought be back to High School. Oh the good ol’ times.

Amy and Jay

Amy and Jay finally tied the knot. It was a beautiful wedding despite the fact that it didn’t stop raining the entire day. During the wedding Amy and Jay had the celebrant say a few words to Kobie which sent all the bridesmaids into a blubbering mess. All that could be heard was the sound of sniffling noses.

Instead of the usual BonBoneries you get at weddings they had a candy buffet so you could help yourself. Great idea! I think everyone’s inner-child came out when they saw the mountain of candy, I know mine did.

I got in quick and stocked up. Yum!

They had a great idea for the guest book. They got everyone to stamp their finger to act as leaves on a tree.

Everyone busting a move on the dance floor.

Kobie had all the moves, he even did a few spins on the floor.

Congrats Amy and Jay, it’s about time!

btw: If you’re interested, here’s a link to the photographer’s photos. (Thanks for the link Maree)

The guessing game

I’ve had this pot of 50c coins for years now and finally got it to the top. It was a bit of a let down though, I really thought there was more in there. Guess that explains why I never won the jellybean guessing competition at school.
