After a few quick calls, a dash to the fish markets and a quick clean of the backyard barbie; we had an impromptu party for my mum’s birthday. With the whole family coming over my grandma decided to teach me her secret satay recipes, complete with peanut sauce and all. It’s been years since she’s made it but you know what, they still taste just as awesome.

Here’s my little fatty bum working those puppy dog eyes. I’m sure she scored a few bits and piece from various people throughout the night, I can’t blame them though, it’s so hard to resist those adorable eyes.
