As the footy season ends so begins the next season, BBQ season. Every year Anna’s BBQ marks the start of the BBQ season for us. The sun was out, the food was sizzling and the crazy wind we’d been experiencing all week in Sydney was kindly absent – perfect BBQ weather. Even Princess (pictured below) had a great time chilling out in the sun, though you can tell she’s really just sitting there eyeing the sausage.

The person who had the most fun in the sun was probably Kobie. He kept dragging us lazy oldies to play skipping or handball or, in my case, climb trees with him.

Though I must say, it didn’t take much to convince me to climb trees with him. I’m just a big kid on the inside and probably had more fun climbing and swinging than he did.
