Happy Birthday Charles!
Last night was probably one of the weirdest nights out that I’ve had in a long time. Being Charles‘ 28th birthday there was a big crowd, and along with a big crowd … a lot of beer.
I don’t think I’m allowed to divulge the happens of the night, but let’s just say it’s a night that I won’t forget, though at times I wish I could forget. The only details I’ll spill are that there’s the involvement of sushi, feet, arm pits and a lot of wasabi. You can fill in the blanks.
The venue for the night was Wagaya, which is this really cool Japanese restaurant in Chinatown where you order food from a touchscreen menu, which probably explains the constant flow of Asahi. No need to get up,
you just touch the screen and they bring it right to your table – genius if you ask me. I can’t vouch for the food because I actually didn’t eat there, had dinner arrangements elsewhere, but I got there just in time for the antics.
After about 4 hours of craziness, the owners were probably trying to chase us out of there. The best way to do that? Simply present the longest bill I’ve ever seen!
